Together against food waste – from orchard to shelf

The United Nations has declared 29 September as International Day Against Food Waste. In light of this, many countries are drawing extra attention to the prevention of food waste in September and October, such as Waste-Free Week in the Netherlands, the Zu gut für die Tonne! campaign week in Germany, and various public campaigns in France.

From coffee cultivation to global export: visit to Kivinaki and Elisur

Last month, our colleagues Gert-Jan and Peke travelled to Peru for a series of visits to orange and ginger growers. The highlight was a visit to the Kivinaki cooperative, where they were welcomed as guests of honour.
