Raingrown starts with the right climate. Our Organic Raingrown Avocados and Oranges are grown in regions where natural rainfall provides the water crops need, helping to avoid the use of scarce drinking water.
Healthy soils create resilient crops. Organic practices support soil health and biodiversity, helping soils retain rainwater and strengthen the foundation of Organic Raingrown growing.
Because the crops are rain-fed, no groundwater is extracted for irrigation. During occasional dry periods, a small reservoir of captured rainwater is used only when necessary. This helps protect scarce freshwater resources and reduces pressure on local water supplies.
