Fruit Logistica Berlin, get your e-ticket

Dear Customer,
If you are planning to visit Fruit Logistica Berlin in February, we would like to take this opportunity to warmly invite you to visit the Eosta stand! Let's exchange ideas and make plans to grow your organic business together. In Berlin we will be focusing on the following:

Request your sample of 'Doyenne du Comice'

Doyenné du Comice is also known as the King of Pears. The pear is very suitable as a hand pear and is used in a variety of ways such as with a cheeseboard, through a salad or as a dessert. The taste is fresh-sweet and this juicy pear has a rich aroma. Contact your Eosta accountmanager for a sample and all details regarding packaging and availability.

Meet Robert, one of the growers of our Dutch organic pears. Robert: "Since I have been working organic, I see nature coming back to my orchard. There are much more earwigs and ladybugs, who control the lice. After two years without pesticides I also see the dragonflies, butterflies and honey bees increase in numbers. My ambition is to grow organic apples and pears of high quality, but also in large quantity. I have 18 hectares of myself and I also pack the apples for four other organic growers. I think organic should gain a serious market share. At the moment, 3% of all food in the Netherlands is organic and that is way too little. Organic will have to prove itself more and demonstrate its added value. I want to work at that."

Grapefruit from sunny Greece, scedule your program

Hi, my name is Gerasimos and we cultivate organic citrus fruits in Greece for Nature & More.  To me it means the respect and protection of both the environment and people.  Both need to remain healthy.  Organic farming is an attitude, a way of approaching your fellow man and the environment in an open, friendly and collaborative manner.  I do not assume that nature only exists to satisfy the desires of the human race.  I consider myself a steward of the land, which means that I have a responsibility to farm it sustainably for generations to come.  The environment in which we live represents a natural-cultural unit within which we work. Current impact of war Gaza and storms on our organic fruit deliveries from Africa and Asia

Situation grape arrivals this weekend
The recent storms, named in Europe as storm Henk and storm Gerrit, like two of our colleagues, have had a significant on the supply of our organic grapes from South Africa. The grapes arrived 2 weeks later than expected. The storms that also raged around the Canary Islands caused an immediate delay in the supply of our South African organic grapes there. The grapes arrive today, but should have been here by Christmas.
