Hello, my name is Sergio Cosi! Together with my family I run this business in Argentina. We produce, process and market organic pears and apples from the high valley of the Negro river and Neuquén, in Argentina.
We grow in line with biodynamic agriculture, building on the ideas of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy. Similar to organic farming, we don’t use industrial fertilizers, pesticides and weedkillers. On top of that we use various herbal and mineral additives for compost and field spray and we make use of an astrological sowing and planting calendar. The starting point is that both animal welfare, the environment and fair trade are taken into account when producing food.

Het aanbod van biologische avocado's uit Mexico neemt gestaag toe. Voor de komende maanden worden goede volumes en beschikbaarheid verwacht. De grotere maten (14–18) zijn momenteel het best beschikbaar. Naarmate het seizoen vordert, verwachten we dat ook de kleinere maten beter beschikbaar worden.
Achter onze Mexicaanse Organic Raingrown®-avocado's staat Avova, een familiebedrijf in Michoacán waarmee Eosta al vele jaren samenwerkt.
Nu het Europese blauwe bessenseizoen langzaam ten einde loopt, zijn de eerste biologische volumes uit Zuid-Amerika onderweg. Peru zal de komende weken als eerste leveren, gevolgd door aanvoer van onze vaste telers in Argentinië, met wie we al jarenlang samenwerken.
