In November, our buyers visited our citrus and grape suppliers in South Africa. Key issues, such as rising costs and climate change, were discussed, and together we worked on sustainable solutions.
By personally discussing the impact of climate change on harvests and seasons, rising costs in the chain, and logistical delays, among others, we can respond quickly and effectively to changes in the market and develop sustainable solutions.
These face-to-face meetings not only strengthen relationships and the supply chain, but also contribute to a more sustainable and robust system. Thus, together we realise benefits for customers, growers and the environment, aiming for a healthier and more sustainable future.
Het aanbod van biologische avocado's uit Mexico neemt gestaag toe. Voor de komende maanden worden goede volumes en beschikbaarheid verwacht. De grotere maten (14–18) zijn momenteel het best beschikbaar. Naarmate het seizoen vordert, verwachten we dat ook de kleinere maten beter beschikbaar worden.
Achter onze Mexicaanse Organic Raingrown®-avocado's staat Avova, een familiebedrijf in Michoacán waarmee Eosta al vele jaren samenwerkt.
Nu het Europese blauwe bessenseizoen langzaam ten einde loopt, zijn de eerste biologische volumes uit Zuid-Amerika onderweg. Peru zal de komende weken als eerste leveren, gevolgd door aanvoer van onze vaste telers in Argentinië, met wie we al jarenlang samenwerken.
