Since the introduction of Natural Branding in 2016, a lot has already been developed. More and more products can be provided with a logo and/or PLU code. Today, with many retail partners, we carry avocado, ginger, mango, limes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes… with Natural Branding. Both under Nature & More and private-label.
A recurring wish from customers is that it would become even more visible. This would significantly improve processing at the checkout and the recognisability as organic for the consumer. For example, in the past we have also started using double-sided branding.
Now Eosta is coming up with 'Inverted Natural Branding'. A technique in which we burn the logo or the code diapositively, i.e. we burn the surroundings but not the logo or the text. This way we simulate the form of a label, creating more contrast with the product's own color. Visibility of the lasered logo thus becomes much better and the customer can recognize the product as organic even better!
Het aanbod van biologische avocado's uit Mexico neemt gestaag toe. Voor de komende maanden worden goede volumes en beschikbaarheid verwacht. De grotere maten (14–18) zijn momenteel het best beschikbaar. Naarmate het seizoen vordert, verwachten we dat ook de kleinere maten beter beschikbaar worden.
Achter onze Mexicaanse Organic Raingrown®-avocado's staat Avova, een familiebedrijf in Michoacán waarmee Eosta al vele jaren samenwerkt.
Nu het Europese blauwe bessenseizoen langzaam ten einde loopt, zijn de eerste biologische volumes uit Zuid-Amerika onderweg. Peru zal de komende weken als eerste leveren, gevolgd door aanvoer van onze vaste telers in Argentinië, met wie we al jarenlang samenwerken.
