Update Organic Raingrown Avocados

Organic Raingrown Avocados from Tanzania are now available. This will be followed by arrivals from Brazil in week 15-16 and Kenya from week 17. The avocados are available year-round, with varying origins from Mexico, Tanzania, Brazil and Kenya.

100% rainwater - no irrigation needed

Avocados grow entirely on natural rainfall, without irrigation using scarce drinking water resources. A powerful alternative at a time when water availability is under pressure worldwide.

Organic farming amplifies the effect

Thanks to organic farming, the soil contains more organic matter, making it retain up to 100% more water at root level. Less evaporation, better moisture regulation, and better drought resilience - even in cultivation systems where irrigation is required.

Less water use, more impact

Several studies show that organic cultivation systems have significantly lower water requirements than conventional cultivation. In some sectors, they are even more than three times more water-efficient.

Ready for CSRD as well as consumer demand

The combination of raingrown and organic offers a concrete answer to sustainability goals within CSRD. At the same time, we see a growing interest from consumers in lower-impact products - we regularly receive e-mails asking "Where can I buy this avocado?"   That is the power of a product with real impact.
