Mexican avocado season builds towards autumn

Organic avocado supply from Mexico is building well, with good volumes and availability expected over the coming months. Currently, availability is strongest in the larger calibres [14–18], while smaller calibres are expected to become more available as the season progresses. 

Organic Raingrown® and broader Mexican supply 

Our Organic Raingrown® avocados from Avova continue to be an important part of our Mexican programme, offering an extra sustainable choice within our organic avocado range. 

From week 36, we will also start loading organic avocados outside the Organic Raingrown®  programme with our other Mexican partner, SIFRESH. This means that from around week 39, both Avova and SIFRESH will be supplying Mexican organic avocados, giving us good volume and flexibility through the autumn period. 

Mexico towards the Moroccan season 

We expect Mexican avocado arrivals to continue until Moroccan supply enters the market, currently expected around weeks 45–46. 

Beyond week 44, we can continue the Organic Raingrown® programme with Mexican avocados from Avova, providing continuity for customers choosing this extra sustainable option, depending on the volumes required.
