Packaging data available on time
Our top priority is to ensure that all necessary packaging data is properly recorded, so that we can provide this information accurately and on time.
Preparing for 2028 and 2030
In doing so, we are not only preparing for 12 August 2026, but also for the next steps towards 2028 and 2030, such as harmonised labelling, compostable fruit and vegetable stickers, stricter recyclability requirements, packaging minimisation and restrictions on single-use plastic.
Sustainable packaging solutions
Drawing on over 35 years of experience in sustainable packaging, we are happy to advise on packaging solutions that are as sustainable as possible;. Our guiding principle is: the best packaging is no packaging at all. That is why, wherever possible, we look at unpackaged options, Natural Branding, reduced material use and other packaging solutions that align with the goals of the PPWR.

PPWR timeline at a glance
- 2026: the data and documentation must be accurate.
- 2028/2029: the information on the packaging will become clearer and more uniform.
- 2030: packaging must be recyclable, with less unnecessary material and fewer complex material combinationss.
- 2035: recycling must also work on a large scale in practice.
