With Organic Fruit Heroes, Eosta is introducing a new organic fruit concept that responds to a clear social and market development: declining fruit consumption among European children and growing parental concern about pesticide residues.
Figures from the World Health Organisation (WHO) show that only 42.5% of European children between the ages of 6 and 9 eat fresh fruit every day. At the same time, the number of overweight children worldwide is increasing. Parents are therefore increasingly looking for healthy, safe and appealing snack alternatives for their children.

Healthy children's snacks, without compromise
Organic Fruit Heroes responds to this demand with a range of 100% fresh and 100% organic fruit. Unlike many fruit-based children's snacks, which are often processed, Organic Fruit Heroes consists exclusively of unprocessed fresh fruit. The concept thus addresses parents' concerns about chemical synthetic pesticides and pesticide residues.
The range consists of fruit varieties popular with children, including apples, pears, kiwis, mandarins and grapes, and varies with the season.

Attractive to children, relevant to retail
Organic Fruit Heroes combines content with appeal. The fruit is presented in eye-catching, child-friendly boxes with stickers that children can use to create their own Fruit Heroes. A QR code gives children access to additional online activities.
For retail, the concept has been developed into shelf crates displays with a top card and a floor display, with special attention to visibility and accessibility at child height.
Responding to a growing market segment
The introduction of Organic Fruit Heroes comes at a time when the European market for children's products and beverages is growing rapidly. Parents are becoming more aware, the range of healthy alternatives is lagging behind, and the need for distinctive concepts in the fruit and vegetable section is increasing.
