Good news! Chile grapes

1920 greatnews

Next week the first Chilean organic grapes will be picked for Eosta. Together with our partner Agromarine we are working this year with the experienced grape grower Jean Bodeguer which means that for the first time now we will receive organic grapes from Chile.

Because this week already the last grapes from South Africa will be harvested, the Chile season perfectly matches the South Africa season. This allows us to extend the overseas grape season until week 20!

Harvesting of the blue/black variety Sable will begin on Tuesday, followed by the red varieties Crimson and Allison.

The weather has been warm and dry in recent weeks, so the berries are nice and big and the brix levels are good.

So, all in all, good news and we are very much looking forward to the first arrivals, expected week 13!

Mexico avo

Strong organic avocado supply from Mexico this autumn

Organic avocado supply from Mexico is building well, with good volumes and availability expected over the coming months. Currently, availability is strongest in the larger calibres [14–18], while smaller calibres are expected to become more available as the season progresses.
