We are deeply honoured that our Organic Raingrown Avocado has won the very first True Price Award! This award honours products that bring true pricing closer, through more efficient supply chains, fair pricing or greater awareness of hidden costs.

An expert jury chose our Organic Raingrown Avocado for its positive impact on water conservation, fair wages and transparency. This avocado is grown with 100% rainwater, in areas with abundant rainfall. This saves at least 800 litres of drinking water per kilo. The avocado is available year-round and part of the Nature & More transparency system. For those who want to go a step further, a Fairtrade option is also available.

True Price as the new standard

The True Price method, developed by @TruePrice.org, has been recognised by The New York Times and others as the standard for calculating the true environmental and social cost of a product.

Also nominated for FLIA 2025

In addition to this award, we have been nominated for the prestigious Fruit Logistica Innovation Award (FLIA) 2025. The winner will be determined by fair visitors and announced on 7 February.

Limes

Moroccan limes provide breathing space in a tight organic lime market

Demand for organic fruit continues to grow, and organic limes are no exception. Their popularity is being driven partly by increasing demand for cocktails, mocktails and homemade lemonades, as well as their wider use in salads, curries and other dishes. Consumers are also increasingly choosing citrus grown without synthetic pesticides and without post-harvest fungicide treatment.

Kivinaki

Kivinaki ready for the new Organic Raingrown Oranges season

Ahead of the new organic orange season, our sourcing team visited Kivinaki in Peru. Over the past four years, we have built a successful export programme with this growers’ co-operative. During the visit, we worked together to prepare for the coming months.

Pineapple

Healthy soil makes organic pineapples more resilient

In Costa Rica, too, the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly apparent. Heavy rainfall, in particular, is making organic pineapple cultivation more challenging and requires growers to be adaptable.
