Europe wants to decrease pesticide use by half in the coming 10 years. Rightfully so, because insects populations are plummetting and pesticide residues are found everywhere, even in Antarctica. More bad news is that in the last ten years the toxic impact of pesticides on bees and other pollinators has doubled. The pesticide lobby is panicking of course, and wants you to believe that pesticides can’t be missed. This Swiss website deals with 7 myths about pesticides:
Organic avocado supply from Mexico is building well, with good volumes and availability expected over the coming months. Currently, availability is strongest in the larger calibres [14–18], while smaller calibres are expected to become more available as the season progresses.
