First Organic Raingrown Avocados from Tanzania

Growing avocados typically requires 800-1000 litres of water per kilo, water that often comes from precious drinking water supplies. In contrast, Organic Raingrown Avocado grows entirely on natural rainfall, without irrigation with scarce freshwater resources.

Water and avocado 02 2

To put the impact in perspective, growing avocados for annual consumption in Europe requires over 1,000 times the total annual drinking water consumption of the whole of the Netherlands. A gigantic amount of water.

The Organic Raingrown Avocado was awarded the True Price Award 2025 and achieved a Top 3 listing in the FLIA 2025. A recognition for sustainability and impact!
