Organic ginger is perfect for making ginger tea and in Asian cooking. In recent years fresh ginger has become very popular. In China it’s traditionally considered a very healthy spice, increasing the “chi” or life energy. That’s why we call it a Health Wonder. Did you know that ginger is not a root but a rhizome. A rhizome is defined as an underground plant stem which is able to produce roots and shoot systems of a new plant. Ginger is mentioned in ancient Chinese, Indian and Middle Eastern writings and has long been prized for its aromatic, culinary and medicinal properties.
